Remember your Creator

Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth,
Before the difficult days come,
And the years draw near when you say,
“ I have no pleasure in them”
Ecclesiastes 12:1

a very good reminder today by preacher Vincent Lau... he mentioned that many or should i say most of us.. are running events everyday.. from 1 event to the other.. young and old.. how many of us actually take time to stop and remember our creator? are the events that we go through count for eternity? that is something to think about.. even as i sit here and reflect on todays sermon, well honestly i've not done it the right way... another good illustration that was given.. we are like bullet trains.. going on.. speeding.. many times we oni stop when we breakdown.. i guess thats not we want? so y not take time to stop instead of overclocking your engine..

as i was listening today.. this song just suddenly came to my mind... god of my forever.. my one prayer now is that i will really use my youth wisely to remember my creator.. that one day i can sing truly with all my heart with this lyrics that my life has been one that is pleasing to GOD... this is a very beautiful song.. also a reminder of the joy and privilege and honor of serving the one true god! click on the title to listen to the song!

GOD OF MY YOUTH I REMEMBER
YOUR CALL ON MY LIFE TOOK ME O'ER
YOUR LOVE HAS SEEN ME THROUGH ALL MY DAYS
I STAND HERE BY YOUR GRACE

ON THIS ALTAR I'VE WRITTEN MY LIFE
TELLS OF THE STORY I HAVE WITH YOU MY LORD
I WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW

GOD OF MY FOREVER
AND FOREVER I'M WITH YOU
MY LIFE IS SAVED WITH A PRICE
YOUR SACRIFICE REDEEMED MY SOUL
GOD OF MY FOREVER
AND FOREVER I WILL SING
MY GREATEST HONOR WILL ALWAYS BE
TO SERVE MY LORD AND KING

GOD OF MY ALL I'VE SURRENDERED
MY HEART FINDS ITS REST IN YOUR WORD
PRAISES WILL NOT BE ENOUGH TO SHOW
HOW MY LOVE FOR YOU HAS GROWN

NOTHING MATTERS WHEN YOU'RE HERE WITH ME
IN THE END JUST TO HEAR YOU SAY “WELL DONE”
BOWING BEFORE YOUR THRONE
